Job Description
DUTIES:
Serve as Production Underwriter, to produce, underwrite new and renew International Casualty business in the US Eastern Region as well as servicing assigned accounts in the portfolio. Support the Casualty team in acquiring new clients and retain existing clients according to underwriting guidelines. Restructure tailor-made solutions for program business. Perform risk analysis and assessment to optimize the exposure of risk capital. Make sound underwriting and pricing decisions. Ensure compliance with local regulations and insurance laws. Advise, assist and service clients on insurance and risk management matters to ensure clients satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance/Risk Management, Finance or related plus minimum three years experience as an Underwriter. Experience must include negotiating detailed underwriting programs, working with all major casualty coverages and underwriting data, experience in financial analysis, and use of information technology.
